Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Confirmation

A booking is confirmed once a signed agreement is received and the required deposit has been paid. Dates are not held without a deposit.

2. Payments

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date.

  • The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the event date.

  • All prices are in NZD and include GST unless otherwise stated.

3. Cancellations & Postponements

  • Deposits are non-refundable due to vendor commitments and planning time.

  • If you need to postpone, we will do our best to accommodate a new date, subject to availability.

  • If cancellation occurs within 30 days of the event, additional charges may apply to cover vendor costs already incurred.

4. Venues & Guest Conduct

  • Each package includes a carefully selected venue. All venues used by The Little Orange Tree are smoke and vape free.

  • Some venues are outdoor or weather-dependent. In the event of adverse weather, a backup plan will be discussed where possible.

  • Couples and guests are expected to respect venue rules, including no smoking or vaping, to ensure a safe and enjoyable celebration for everyone.

  • The Little Orange Tree is not responsible for weather conditions but will work collaboratively to find solutions.

5. Guest Numbers

Each package has a maximum guest limit:

  • The Seed – couple + 2 witnesses

  • The Blossom – up to 20 guests

  • The Grove – up to 30 guests

Additional guests may incur extra costs and must be approved in advance. Exceeding guest limits without approval may result in additional charges or impact service delivery.

6. Timeframes

Each package includes a set duration:

  • Seed: 60 Minutes

  • Blossom: 2.5 hours

  • Grove: 3.5 hours

Any extension beyond the agreed timeframe may incur additional fees and is subject to vendor availability.

7. Food & Beverages

  • Food inclusions vary by package.

  • Beverage options may include a licensed cash bar or BYO alcohol served through a licensed bar.

  • BYO options incur an additional beverage service cost, which will be discussed with you prior to booking.

  • Responsible service of alcohol applies at all times.

8. Alcohol & Conduct

Guests must comply with all venue and licensing requirements. The Little Orange Tree reserves the right to cease alcohol service if required under licensing laws or for safety reasons.

9. Vendors

The Little Orange Tree works with trusted local vendors. Substitutions may be made if necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. We reserve the right to replace vendors with equal or similar professionals if required.

10. Photography & Media

By booking, couples agree that images captured on the day may be used for marketing, social media, and website purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.

11. Liability

The Little Orange Tree is not responsible for:

  • Personal injury

  • Loss or damage to personal belongings

  • Actions of guests

Couples are responsible for the behaviour and safety of their guests.

12. Force Majeure

The Little Orange Tree is not liable for events beyond reasonable control (including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or vendor illness). In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule or provide reasonable alternatives where possible.

13. Changes to Services

Minor changes may occur due to availability, seasonality, or safety requirements. Any significant changes will be discussed and agreed upon prior to the event.

14. Privacy

Personal information provided will be used solely for booking and event management purposes and will not be shared with third parties outside of event coordination.

15. Acceptance

By booking with The Little Orange Tree, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
